    What is a digital product?

Digital products are any type of digital format that can be sold and distributed online without a physical inventory. You can sell PDFs, Videos, Templates, audio, books, and so much more!

The Benefits of Selling Digital Products

There are many reasons to sell digital products

    They’re cost-effective to create

Aside from the tools you need to sell digital products, your biggest cost will be your time and effort to create the product.

Plus you’ll never have to worry about inventory or shipping issues because once they’re created you can sell however many you want for as long as you want!

    Passive Income

Yes, you can wake up to cash in the bank plus it will keep you free to focus on doing more of what you love! They allow you to set up your product once and focus on marketing and strategies to reach your business goals.

    Monetize Your Expertise

Everyone should be paid for what they know! That includes you, friend. When you share what you know, you’ll grow an audience that will be happy to pay you for your knowledge & experience with this new digital product of yours!

    You’re the Boss

You get to choose how your digital products are created, sold & promoted. You can do A/B testing, offer discounts or change your pricing structure at any time. And this will either ignite a fire or scare the crap out of you, but at the end of the day, the success of your product is completely up to you.

    High-Profit Margin

Recurring costs are limited to your hosting and shopping cart fees and there’s essentially no cap on the amount of profit you can generate from digital products. Um, heck yes?

An Example of the Most Profitable Digital Products to Sell

People can give you complicated formulas and tell you that one type of product is better than another, but the truth is to tap into the limitless money of digital products, they need to be easy for you to make, exciting for you to teach and easy for your people to consume and take action!

    Templates

Anything that serves as a pattern or a mold is a template.  In the digital world, this means that you can create documents, spreadsheets, designs, swipe files, plug-n-play copy, outlines of art, or anything else that can be used as an outline and a person can then buy and recreate.

One of my favorite and most valuable Budget Template for Biz Owner’s is Nicole Barman’s 5-minute Bookkeeper! (affiliate)

    Workbooks/Journals

A workbook is something that can contain multiple sections and worksheets that are designed to guide someone through questions, exercises, etc. Workbook to guide them on how to start a business with fillable sections, or a journal to guide them through a big event in their life.

One of my favorites is my Manifest Your Monthly Income Workbook you can grab it now here.

    eBooks

An eBook is a book that you can download or read online! Simple as that.

    Audio Recordings

You can open your phone and begin recording any type of audio file for meditation, or class, take the audio from one of your video recordings, teach people how to speak a different language, and more!

    Video Recordings

Pre-record yourself speaking, making a tutorial, navigating a platform, or hosting a live masterclass or workshop,  and you have an instant digital product! I recommend using Loom to create and host your videos because not only do you get a transcript, but you can also embed them on your course platform.

    Courses or Mini Courses

Courses are online educational programs that you work through on an online platform. It’s usually a step-by-step process that leverages different types of digital products.

The goal is to take your customer from point A to point B when it comes to solving their problem.

    Digital Bundles

Combine, mix & match any digital product to create a bundle. The goal is to bundle products that complement each other.
